Digital transformation for a global telecoms group

Agentic AI advisory for a global telecommunications group

Agentic AI advisory for the talent acquisition team of a large telecoms group

Context

I provided the agentic AI advisory specialism for the strategy review of a talent acquisition team. Senior leadership wanted to move beyond AI curiosity to a shared, practical understanding of how agentic AI could transform enterprise recruitment and a way to start building, safely, inside a large and highly governed organisation.

The challenge

Talent acquisition at this scale is a complex, multi-stakeholder operation, and the company already had a number of systems where vendors were presenting AI tools, but where a unified apporach to AI was not present. Before any pilot could begin, leadership needed a common language for what agents are, what they can and cannot do today, and which problems justify which level of autonomy, together with a repeatable, responsible method for moving from idea to working pilot without building the most complex thing first.

What we did

The programme included:

  • Workshop design and facilitation for senior talent acquisition leadership, demonstrating how AI agents could transform candidate sourcing, screening and hiring workflows.
  • Agentic AI strategy and use-case design covering multiple levels of agent maturity — from simple automation through to fully autonomous multi-agent recruitment systems.
  • Presentations on AI risk and governance for the wider team, ensuring responsible adoption from the outset.
  • A methodology framework for implementing agentic AI pilots within recruitment.
